This is a legally binding membership agreement. By making payment to Pickleball Clubhouse and using its facilities in any manner, you are unconditionally agreeing to all terms below.

MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Minimum commitment: Monthly memberships require a 3-month minimum, billed monthly. Annual memberships are pre-paid for 12 months.
Auto-renewal: After the initial term, this agreement automatically renews for successive terms (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate.
Cancellation: To prevent renewal, you must send written notice by email to hi@pickleballclub.house at least 30 days before your current term's expiration. Notice received after this window applies to the following term.
Refunds: Paid membership and initiation fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Payment failure: If your payment method is declined, the balance is still owed. You must provide an alternate payment method immediately.
Membership rights: Pickleball Clubhouse may refuse, suspend, or revoke any membership with notice at its sole discretion.

PRICING & CREDITS BY MEMBERSHIP TIER
All reservations require advance booking via Court Reserve. Membership fees are not subject to the Chicago amusement tax, but reservations are — expect +10.25% on all bookings.
* Unlimited subject to court availability and reservation limits.
** Fanatic and Game Changer members may use courts for singles or drilling during non-prime time at no cost, as long as both players hold one of these membership types.
Non-prime time: Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM and Saturday 5–7PM. All other times are prime time. Subject to change.
Court pricing is based on doubles (4 players), per person, per hour. Skill-based play allows up to 6 per court. Open play allows up to 7.5 per court.

MONTHLY CREDITS
· 1 credit = $1 toward a la carte bookings and events
· Credits refresh on the 1st of each month
· Credits do not roll over — unused credits expire at end of month
· Credits are non-transferable and for member use only
· After credits are used, you may continue booking at your discounted member rate, paid in dollars

MEMBERSHIP PAUSE
· Pause fee: $30/month to hold your membership spot
· Allowed once per calendar year; minimum 30 days
· Cold months (November–April): pause for up to 4 months
· Warm months (May–October): pause for up to 2 months
· Annual members: term end date is extended by the number of months paused
· Monthly members: pausing prevents a new initiation fee upon resuming; the 3-month minimum still applies
Medical pause: In the event of a medical or injury situation, membership can be paused for up to 4 months (once per year) at the $30/month fee, with a letter from a doctor confirming that playing pickleball is not possible. Annual members may cancel and receive a prorated refund for remaining pre-paid time after the pause period. Initiation fees are not refunded.
Important: Any visit to the club during a pause — even as a guest of another member — automatically restarts your membership that day.

RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS
· Private court bookings: 48+ hours notice required
· Open play, skill play, and all other bookings: 24+ hours notice required
· Late cancellations: You will be automatically charged the dollar equivalent at your membership level (or one level below for Fanatic and Game Changer members)
· No exceptions
All reservations have value even when the cost is covered by credits or membership dues. Please be considerate of fellow members and staff.

GUEST PASSES (Fanatic tier only)
· 2 guest passes included per month
· Valid for open play or court booking (up to 2 hours) at no cost
· Not valid for tournaments or special events
· Guests must be non-members
· A guest may only visit once per 30 days, regardless of which member brings them

INSTRUCTION
Group clinics: Per-person pricing; up to 6 per court; minimum 4 participants; staffed by various instructors.
Private instruction: Available with the instructor of your choice. Email academy@pickleballclub.house for pricing and availability.

FAMILY & YOUTH MEMBERSHIP
A family or youth member is someone related by blood or marriage to the primary member who resides in the same household. Youth members are age 14 or younger. Discounted pricing for families, youth, and corporate members may be offered at Pickleball Clubhouse's sole discretion.

POLICY MODIFICATIONS
